Love letters & whatnots

I wouldn't like to be described as a sentimental person, but I like to keep everything that anyone has ever written to me. I have letters, holiday and birthday cards, and random notes in my box that were written by friends, acquaintances and people I don't even prioritize or spend time with anymore. In fact, there's one or two from people that consider me as a stranger now and vice versa.

But you know at one point in time, these "strangers" thought I was important enough to take some time out of their lives to write to me. In the end, I guess it really is only the memories that you have left because not every friend you make will stay in your life forever. Some you were meant to meet to learn from and create memories with, most are just passing by and a few are your true friends who will always be by your side no matter what.
